WINTER FLORALS & FOLIAGE

 WATERCOLOUR WORKSHOP

Join us at ‘OFFTHERAILSARTHOUSE’ for a relaxing and therapeutic workshop devoted to the art of watercolour painting.

You will learn how to illustrate seasonal Winter flowers and foliage, experimenting with loose style watercolour technique to convey the beautiful rich colours and textures of the season. It's a relaxed, informal and organic class, exploring sketching and maybe some mix media, like watercolour pencils, black pen etc.

Hosted by floral and textile artist Clare Robinson, this workshop is designed to introduce beginners and intermediates to the medium of watercolour, helping you nurture and develop your own style.

Clare will demonstrate over the day and there will be plenty of one-on-one guidance to help enhance your observation and expressive painting skills.

The workshop will include all art materials and flowers, but if you have your own materials you are more than welcome to bring along.

Tea/coffee/cake will be provided but please bring your own lunch.

A little about your tutor for the workshop ~ 

Clare Robinson BA (Hons) Textile Design is a watercolour artist and textile designer with a love for the painterly and softly drawn images. 

She has collaborated with British Heritage brands, designing bespoke artwork and prints for homewares and magazines, also teaching classes and hosting wellbeing workshops for UK charities.
