Join us for an online watercolour workshop devoted to the art of floral painting, inspired by the seasonal flowers and foliage found in nature.
I will be your host during the 90-minute workshop, demonstrating loose watercolour style as well as sketching, colour mixing and composition. I will also discuss key topics such as materials, papers and paints.
We will look at conveying beautiful textures and colours of seasonal flowers using loose style and “wet in wet” watercolour techniques.
The informal, chatty virtual workshop is suitable for beginners as an introduction to watercolour painting to help you develop your own style – feel free to join in and paint or simply relax and observe.
After your booking is confirmed, you will receive an email with the invitation to join the class via Zoom along with an image of the flowers I will demonstrate. Students will need to provide their own materials if they want to paint along at home.
