Giclée are the highest standard of quality reproductions printed, hence why they are a little more expensive.
The technique, which is painstakingly slow allowing high saturation of colour by thousands of tiny droplets of ink, produces prints which are rich in colour, with a flawless, velvety texture that captures the feel and vibrancy of the original.
Printed onto the highest quality, acid free archival textured fine art papers, similar to the paper Clare uses for original watercolours.
Mounts
The prices for Giclée prints include a white mount and you should allow an extra 2.5cm all round.
Postage
For Giclée prints the cost of postage and packaging is more expensive than standard lithographic prints, as these more delicate and sensitive prints have to be dispatched ‘flat packed’. You should allow a cost of £20 for (UK mainland) for standard Giclée Prints. This may increase for larger Giclée prints. Please contact Clare for further information.
