Clare Robinson studioAbout Clare Robinson

Clare's passion for beautiful botanical and floral images are the inspiration for her loose style and ethereal watercolours. Working on a large scale, to capture the vibrancy and beauty of flowers in a distinctive way.

Now working both as an artist and textile designer, Clare studied Printed Textiles at Loughborough College of Art & Design before working as a product designer in fashion and textiles at such iconic British brands as Mackintosh, Glasgow.

A move to Perthshire was what encouraged Clare to return to painting but her background in textile design is reflected in her expert sense of composition and use of colour.

Commissioned for Liberty Art Fabrics, London recent Print Collections and Johnstons of Elgin 2013 Home Furnishing Range, for which Clare took inspiration from historic gardens and local flora.
